Are you saying that someone paid a R20 instead of a R200 for entry fee? Surely the onus is on the person receiving the money to verify that an oke has paid the correct amount just as much as the same onus is on the payee. I get the impression that should it be a mistake, it passed through two hands unnoticed?

Secondly, if perhaps it was unintentional, how can this be linked to the litter left at the dam? The pairs of litter tell me it was a couple who shared the beers and sarmies and were probably traveling together.......

I would like to relate a true story from my grandfathers days: Everyone travelled on horseback most of the time and one Christmas a guy walked into a local trading store and asked to buy a saddle which was situated on the top shelf. The shop was moer busy and an assistant was assigned to bring down the saddle to give to the client. The owner, knowing the patron well, said he will send the invoice as he was too busy right now. There was trust and honesty in those days you see.
Nonetheless, a few weeks later the owner couldn't remember to whom he had sold the said saddle and through a process of elimination, he ended up invoicing 54 guys for the saddle, trusting that the purchaser would own up and pay........guess what, 18 guys paid for that saddle without questions asked!

You okes figure it out how times have changed.

It was dark when I received the money and the entries were coming thick and fast I soon noticed the error and thought it could have been a mistake but it was not the person intentionally paid with a R20. I immediately mentioned it to the entrants to please check their wallets as this clearly was an error on whoevers behalf but no one did the effort so I rest my case this person took a chance and he got away with it.

If the individual responsible reads this or if anyone has any doubt and there seems to be an extra R200 note still in your wallet after this trip, DO THE RIGHT THING AND COME CLEAN.
For fear of embarrassment or being moered, you could do this indirectly by organising prizes to the value of R180 at one of the upcoming KBT events or pay an entry and don't pitch or use your imagination.........
That way you can sleep better @ night, no-one loses and the sport wins. I urge you, really!
