Ooooo I’m not sure I can go that low… I’ve managed to get down to 13lb line… I have a huge mental block about going lower than 13lb having bust off a few times when I used Vanish 15lb line and lost a couple of pigs at Inanda… now that I have changed to Siglon my confidence is back… if I hooked a pig in the compo and the line snapped I may have to kill myself.

But I have learnt in my short time of bass fishing to listen to the chaps who have been doing this for a while longer than I have and I will force myself to go to the Complete Angler tomorrow and get myself some 10lb line… CBC (Crank Bait Carl) in CT got me to buy him some 6lb Toray and he catches plenty of nice sized smallies on it… so I will go to the Pharmacy first and get some tranquilisers and then to the fishing shop. :blue-biggrin:
