Ok, that makes things clearer. That's not the Berg river by the way. This is the Elandspad, Smalblaar and Molenaars system.The rivers in the Limietberg reserve are all fly fishing only water and are administered by the Cape Piscatorial Society on behalf of Cape Nature. Access is managed using a beat system and the number of people on the river is governed by Cape Nature stipulations. The CPS leases the rivers from Cape Nature to provide fly fishing access to club members. Temporary membership and access permits can be arranged through the club if you want to fly fish on a casual basis. A strict catch and release policy is enforced and even mortally injured fish must be returned to the river.
