Eikenhof Social Angling Club

Hi Guys

Recently Carl and I were given the opportunity to start a new angling club at Eikenhof. So with Carl (Bergie) as Chairman and me as vice Chairman the club has been officially opened.

As most of are aware Eikenhof is a stunning dam with loads of small bass. This problem is going to be seen to as time goes by as we have a culling programme in the pipeline which should help the situation. We have a few great ideas on how to improve the fishing there but will need help from the members. I have heard of and seen pictures of fish over 3kg’s coming out at this venue so the big fish are there, they are just hard to find… for now…

We are calling on all the Cape based BFSA members to jump on board and join the club for a host of reasons. Firstly it gives us a great location to have social events as the base is the country club on the edge of the water. The club has one of the best views I have ever seen and the prices are spot on so a lekker social drink after a day’s fishing will be no problem. We will have access to all the facilities including a nice launch ramp and braai area.
