What boat should I get?

Looking to upgrade to a small big boat... :eusa_dance:

Possibilities are: Splash bass, Dragon Fly MK3, Rebel 440.
Can you guys comment on the boats above and possible alternatives in the same price class.

Point of note. I will mainly be using it for fishing, but would also like to spend a day at dam skiing and tubing. So should be capable of pulling someone out of the water as well.

Size wise? I see the splash bass is very small and don't think I will get one, but how does it compare with the Rebel and DF MKiii? Also couldn't find any photo's showings deck layouts. Which one will be more user friendly and a pleasure fish on. I know these are not large boats so there will be compromises, but I can live with those.

Best deal at the moment seems to be a Dragon Fly with a 115 HP Yamaha on at a decent price as well. But seeing as I want to ski with the boat as well and haven't seen one for myself I need some input.

I would try and find a Raker or a boat with the same shape hull. Best compromise between smaller and larger boats I have found:

From your list and the Raker I have added I would choose:

Raker X16 (or Bullet has same hull different modernised deck - I currently own a Raker with a 90 Evinrude - Lightning and Barbados also have the same hull shape)
Rebel 440 (Nice an stable boat from what I have seen)
Dragonfly MK3
Splash Bass MK2
Splash Bass MK1 (owned one of these but the MK2 has improved hatch layout and is slightly longer)

The DF MK III is also a great boat but I think the Yammie 115HP is just a bit heavy for the boat. I had a 90HP Mariner on mine and that was a great combination. That 115HP Yammie is also a bit thirsty and you will feel it in your pocket when you spend a day pulling people on ski's! I personally feel that buying a bass boat to use as a ski boat does not work. Rather buy a ski boat to use as a bass boat. I think the DF is also only rated for 3 people on the boat. If you want to go ski you might have 3 people on the boat and when the skier is tired and he gets on the boat you are over the limit of the boat and this might cause problems on some dams for you where they are strict.

Thanks for the Input. How does the Milard Classic 16ft bass boat compare to these? Anyone have any experience with the Milard boat?
