Hi all

I've successfully rebuilt,my curados, cores and several spinning reels
(mainly abu) I've got a sahara that has a major issue after i reassembled it.
when you turn the handle, the rotor seems to scuff the reel body.
when,i remove the rotor,it turns fine, and the anti-reverse works too.
any advice or do you know of anyone that can help?
Thanks in advance

Aha, the Sahara is a lovely reel. Use the schematic to make sure that everything is in it's place. If you haven't got one I can post it here for you? Which size?

This is going so sound impossible but sometimes that scuffing sound is caused by a gritty bail roller. Thats if the reel has a bail with a roller. Not sure if all these rolllers have bearings but some do. Open it up clean, lube and try the reel again. Often it only "scuffs" when you retrieving a lure and there's a bit of pressure on the bail roller.
