Hi All,

Newby from Gauteng, have done some Bass fishing once a year but decided to do it more frequently. Its a great way to spend the day.

Bought myself a nice Abu Garcia baitcaster and some proper lures etc.

Went to Oppie Koppie Bass Farm on Sunday and caught some nice Bass and also a big Kurper.

This is the PB for the day, wish I had a scale! That's my next purchase.

Nise fish there Blind. But the next thing that caught my eye was your new Abu Garcia reel laying in the dirt...put it on the grass!! That is a sure way of picking up lots of sand into your reel and very soon it does not work too well. What we do in our excitement when catching good fish !
Life is not about the number of breaths we make, but the moments that take our breath away.

Thanks all!

Yeah I completely rinsed it with fresh drinking water before the next cast. Was very dusty... Had a few words with myself... :0

Also did a clean when I got home.
