Hi guys I'm planning a trip to letsibogo dam will be my 1st time..trying to go in september I did read the reports and the bass are crazy over there...im using 15lb Berkley maxx is it too thin for letsibogo and I'm using owner 3/0 hooks...what do you guys suggest. Should I go thicker line and bigger hooks.

Thanks guys

I have never fished Letsibogo but 15lb line is on the scary side of light in Arabie. My understanding of Letsibogo is that it involves a lot of pitching and flipping in trees for which I would suggest 25lb fluorocarbon and the strongest hooks I can find. hook size is more a factor of bait size than strength.
Oh and welcome, I am sure some of the guys who have made the trip will have more detail.

Welcome Ismael. All the reviews I have read so far links with what Loodkop just said. I would definitely not try anything under 15lb there.
