I saw an advert for Le Bonhear in Paarl. They say the bassing is good and it is worth a visit.
True :eusa_dance: ?

Hi BBT,
I went there in Sept on a crocodile-farm tour. The dam looks very fishable from a float tube, although it's quite small and can be covered easily in a morning. You will need to arrange for access the day before you fish as the gates only open for croc visitors from about 10h00. They seemed to be happy with the tubers arriving early, but will expect payment when booking. Parking and access is easy. The croc skin handbag and other girlie luggage showroom is also worth a visit, followed by a croc steak pie and wine from the restaurant.

I was there couple of times last year and the fishing was really not worth the money. It use to be a great place about 2 years ago. Maybe they restocked or something... give it a go and let us know ??

[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND]Great venue for a quick session with some quality fish. There are also big Tilapia present with the odd croc now and then. Costs about R40 for the day with a half day option as well. Fishing allowed from 8am to 5pm. Ok so you tickled my fancy with this post so I went to check it out on sunday for a quick 3 hour session. Caught a total of 10 bass, 5 over a kilo with the biggest being 1.7kg. Not too shabby...

Damn - I didn't go because I thought it sounded a bit of a Croc. Were you bank fishing or on a tube?
Cheers
