Eks n nuweling hier. Het n projek boat aan geskaf en hoop om ook n bootjie te he waarmee ek iets kan vang.

Die rede hoekom ek n vff gekoop is omdat dit n groot boat is. Eks n groot man en wil graag so biekie stabiele platform he
Die onderkant van die hull lyk vir my goed, Die bo kant het my glad nie gelukkig nie. Die Fiberglass hatches het begin deur trap. Die Konsole is nie gebou vir my vatsoenlik lyfie nie. Die matta is morsdood. Dis asof die boot in die son gestaan het!!!

Engine gewys het hy n Mercury Pro Xs 225 op
26' fury SS prop
Hydraulic steering
het n 6' jackplate op
75lb minn kota 24V trolling
Lowrance Hds5 , 520c fishfinder en LDC3000 gps module

My beplanning is om die volgende tedoen:
die console te verander sodat ek kan pas
die hatches van Alu oor temaak
die matte te vervang met regte matte
nuwe stoele op tesit
2 nuwe fishfinders op te sit
nuwe 101lb thruster
onboard charger vir die 4 deep cycle batterye
nuwe tank te bou

Congrats on the new boat!

For the sake of everyone else on the forum I am going to answer in English. The VFF is really an awesome fishing platform. I saw this boat being advertised and it really was a lot of boat for the price.

I know the guys from Tribal boats also created aluminium hatches so it might be useful to try and contact them and get some pointers.

Before you lay carpets put down something like neoprene or Sondor foam underneath. It creates a very comfortable feel under foot and will actually protect your carpet in the long run.

Please update your profile with where you are form so that the guys in your area can assist and point you in the right direction should you need and assistance or supplies.

I know quite a few guys use imported Ranger carpets as they are less likely to be hook cranks. I used automotive carpeting which I found adequate for my purposes.

The VFF has an awesome and very fast hull. I am sure you are going to have lots of fun on this new rig.

The alu hatches I drawn the models on cad. Used a company called Kare sheet metals in Pretoria, they use 6061 3mm and cnc bend them for me. I just need to weld the 4 corners.

For the carpets I bought ranger carpets from uncle John Bullpit.

The consul I bought a set of tornado ones from Shandon, saw on his tornado nice Attwood centric seats, end up buying them from cabelas for a good price, nearly 35% of the local price.

Uncle john also supplied me with a cmc hydraulic lift plate 10'offset, the steering controls for trim and tilt and the lift plate. Rod buckles too.

On the electronic side of things I bought a lowrance hds 9 touch with structure scan, and hds7m gen2. To display data of the engine I bought a mercury single gateway module, to display analog data on the nmea network I bought a rs11 module.

I changed to 101lb trolling motor. 4 new Delcor deap cycle batteries, that's charged by 2 inboard switch mode supplies

That's what I have done so far.
