no 1) if you find it on the banks of Clanwilliam I will pay you R500 to return it to me

no 2) does anyone know of / or have EXACT hula's like this - please PM me I will buy them!

no 3) what is the CLOSEST modern day version of this hula's actual SIZE?

Its extremely sentimental to me - I promise to never fish with it again if I get it back!!!

There is new but origional hula poppers at fishing specialist, i bought one myself a week ago and in the same colour nogals.
There are also a black version that will work great after dark.
I think I paid R110 for it, but it is a must have!

Had a look at the Arbogast website and product catalog and my best guess is model G770 (1 3/4" , 1/4oz) in Frog/White Belly (code 06).

I have the exact same one! Also 20+ years old. But my oldest lure is probably between my (battle-scarred) Heddon Meadow mouse, crazy crawler or Lazy Ike! Just a 'bit' newer I also still have my Dying Flutter and several rapala countdown lures.

Do you still remember those old crap "docter hook" cranks which flippen NEVER retrieved straight?

I have been seriously wondering if it isn't time to retire them and frame them or something...

I've got two thats made of wood, they are very old and I still fish with them. It's the best topwater ever made for smallies.
You can still find them in tackle shops. Dreamfish got a nice one for you.
