For a deck-layout, visit the big boat websites like Triton and Ranger. That will give you the best idea of what you should be looking at in terms of design.

For a livewell, I suggest all you build in your boat is a nice big hatch. Then build your livewell completely seperate and from a plastic product like a Addis crate or something like that. Reason I suggest this, is because all the imported boats, have this design. This crate is then just lightly fiberglassed in, to prevent it from moving around, but can easily be taken out to repair leaks ect.

Have a look at the websites of the guys from the states to give you a idea of what i mean.

stated with the hatches just some pics. The hatches of the left is the rod hatch and will go all the way to the front.

got the hatches almost finished in the front of the boat and started with the flo coat today on some on the hatches

got going on the steering cowl just need to paint and mount.... not quite like Shanons but it works for me and the boat

got going on the cooler box and fish hatch. Insulated the cavities with insullation foam should keep the fish happy and the cold ones. Cooler on the left fish hatch on the right and also getting a drain plug.
