THIS IS MY NEW 180 LTS LAKE AND BAY BUILT BY AFRICAN SKIFF IN CAPE TOWN. It's a cross over boat, a tournament center console bass boat that has a 5NM offshore rating, I have yet to ride a boat that has the preformance this 18,5ft has, we went out to sea in a 35knot south easter off cape point and she handle like a dream, dry as a bone she is fast aswell, with a 200hp motor she clocks well over the 100kp/hr mark. She is very similar in design to Rangers bay 23!

All my boats are tested in the weather at Cape point, she has a deep V front and can eat any chop that can be thrown at her, and yes 35KNots of south east is true. I am based in Cape Town, if there are any bass members here that woulds like to me to put my money where my mouth is you are welcome to take her for a test ride, any day of the week! my boat is fitted only with a 75HP because i only fish the inshore bay and that get s me around 26 knots which is plent on the open sea,she is tried and tested with big motors already and easily handles 100 kilometers and hour!

This is a forum site where people come to share information, not to push their product.

Fishfinger there are quite a few Ex Commercials and Semi-Commercial fisherman on this website. Me being one of the Ex Semi-Commercials. I go out now and then with a 28ft Capecraft with 2 x 250hp on the back. That setup can ride the weather outside Cape Point at 35 Knots and more. Its damn uncomfortable and we get as wet as hell. So ja you must own .....Really Something Special there. :blue-rolleyes:

It might be a crossover boat but it seems it is making some cross!
Put that boat in the current off the east coast @ 15NM out and you will definately not be doing 35 knots boet!
