Wife opens the back door to let the big dogs out
3 previously disadvantaged charge her AND SHE HOLDS THE DOOR.
I run around looking for my 38 special (oops they took it away from me)
Wheres the baseball bat

That's why I've got a "herd" of Jack Russells, they sleep with their radar and sonar on which gives you time to react. Pity you couldn't get a few slugs loose!

With the laxing of the gun laws I once again reapplied for a rifle that is now approved and i am apparently competent.This year I will apply for the handgun. I don't fancy shooting anyone, but when I spend days at dams where I am often the only person there, I would like to have extra back up. The rifle for now is mainly for hunting, but, I have no problem people breaking into my home and abusing me, the problem comes when they want to abuse my dog and my lovely lady.

I am tired of people saying " at least you are alive and ok". To me that statement is one that should not be a consideration. That should be normal every day life. It is absolute nonsense that we are not able to sit in traffic with our windows wound down for fear of the what if!

Sorry for ranting, but I have been a victim of near, threatened death from from these whatever you want to call them, thugs etc.
I will no longer tolerate it!

I don't know where it's going to end. It's a absolute disgrace how things are working in this beautiful country of us. Some people think it's their right to steal from others and some times comitting murder for a cellphone or what ever.
Murder, rape, theft, you name the crime, all became a fassion and when caught and find guilty the criminal only gets a few years where they receive 5 star treatment.

Ya guys, my mate got pulled over by a ghost squad car on mon eve on the plattekloof road near pick n pay, 2 guys in uniforms, hit him over the head, took wallet,cellphone etc threw him in a ditch and left. About 10pm. Similar storie Carte blanche a few weeks ago. My mate was alone and is a fair size guy, so I think the sex is irrelevant, simply being alone seem to be suffice. Be careful guys, always stop at a gas station or some where public.

Jack russel and jack russel spanial cross sleeping next to the bed. Few weeks ago Alarm goes off at 3am. Dogs are in a frenzy. Get the rifle (dont have handgun yet), check the alarm went off in the garage....hmmm my bakkie (which gets me to the dam)...not the donner will they take that tonight. So proceed to the garage slowly. Kick the door open ready to cause k@k. There stands the security gaurd chasing some deer out of my garage (left the door open, idiot me). Before I can get to my senses the jack russel spanial cross (senko) is all over this security gaurd like smallie on a lipless crank...all hell brakes loose. He just could feel the tension and when he saw an unknown he just went crazy. Eventfull evening.

Hope the above never happens to me. Would hate to be in a situation like that. Good luck man.

robogaurds in the garden with a base station with zones will indicate where they are in the garden...without getting the dogs killed...as what happened in westville...they killed the dogs then smashed the entire door frame out the wall to gain entry...

i am busy installing a camera at my passage door so that i can see them on the otherside without having to open the door...upgrading the door to a fire rated door... "umarmed"..." lost" or" looking for water" common excuses used during house breakings...if they are in your house a person needs to make sure your family is safe at what ever cost.

Unfortunately there are more important topics in the news...than armed robberies and murders in suburbs...or it could be that there are so many that they cant print them all...
or it could be that when people hear of a couple being tied up and put in the frezer to die it could cause a reaction.

if you do own a firearm beware...if you shoot one of them they will come back an get your firearm...as what happened to a mate...he shot one of them with a 45 in the knee...2 weeks later they came back and took his 45.
