Duncan, glad to hear you and the Mrs are ok.
I also had a run in over December, but fortunately (or unfortunately?) I wasn't home.
Got home after the holidays and my place got emptied out.
Luckily I didnt loose any fishing tackle. Had most with me and the rest were locked up in the garage.

You will go to jail for that only a registered gunsmith is allowed to alter a weapon and all alterations have to be documented and given to SAP to note on any licence you are not even allowed to bend the barrel.

duncan...the 10/30/50 watt led floodlights are the best...i have 1500 watt floodlights on the side of my house...all my neighbours know there is a problem when there is a light shining into their bedroom 2 roads up...the only problem is the cost to switch them on and run them...the new led floodlight are awesome...if you want to see how bright they are drive down bulwer road in dbn... i have them lighting up a double storey office block...i had to take the 50 watt one out and replace it with a 10 watt because the neighbours where complaining because the light was tooo bright.

Beware if you arrive home and think they have left...we found 3 in the roof of one of my customers houses...the robogaurds kept going off but when they went to check..there was nobody...they made a hole in the ceiling above the stairwell so they could see when someone entered the house...then they just lay still...as soon as everyone left they continued to cut out all the copper piping in the roof and stripped all the loose electrical cables like twin+e...over a 2 day period.

Another job in bothas hill...i had to rewire and entire granny flat...they climbed over the brand new electric fence and went under the granny flat and cut out all the surfix...the customer couldnt understand why the e/l unit was tripping...there are 5 police trained dogs on the property.

You must see some of the cctv footage...one recroding a person climbs over barb wire fencing and walks into a property with robo gaurds...you can see how he enters the garage and out building...but then activates the roboguard...you see him run and bail over the barb wire fence...if i didnt see it on the recording i would never have believed it...the fence is 9 ft high...these crimminals are fearless...

i watched a person break into a vehicle in front of my property...by the time i got the peacemaker and opened the one lock on the door then the other lock then the security gate...he sat in the car and kept trying to start the car until the security gate open...then jumped out the vehicle and started walking to the get away vehicle...they are clever...he only had sleeper shorts on so there was no way he could be armed and if i made peace with him i would have been in the crapper.

The solution is a piantball gun and a peacemaker just in case...at least witrh a paintball gun you get the hard balls and you can short them from 50 metres away...and even better if you catch up to them and get some close shots by the time you empty the 200 rounds...they dont get up...you can go back to bed.
