Southpaw the biggest fish in all of those pictures was caught on a Shimano.

+1 for Shimano Big Grin

@Roy that middle photo was just because you were on a good boat with a good skipper that uses Quantums.....oh yet and a good net guy and a good photographer...have not see you catch fish like that since you jumped ship...or jumped ship...or jumped ship again.. Eish I have lost count :blue-biggrin:

Ai Gents, funny topic but in the end all that counts is having fun to catch our beloved fish. Ons stry oor skoon kak as dit oor katrolle gaan. I love bass fishing so much that I am even willing to buy a Quantum again if nothing ellse is on the market.

Sorry my bad, got them mixed up :blue-neutral:

@Roy, Ok bad example. But this quarterly Quantum vs... debate that lasts 4 monts each time is getting really boring.

Navrik it is well documented that you like to go for swims while fishing from a bass boat.

But next time please leave the rods on board and don't loose them in the water.

@Valrath...you memory is failing you... you have never been on my boat :eusa_liar:

Again stop getting personal guys...you lose the fight immediately if you get personal.

Also don't stray away from the topic. I will bring Q back into posting :blue-biggrin:

Currently the new ALX rods are impressing me more and more everytime I get to fish them. My two favorites being the Dreamstick and Speedfury models. I currently have them paired up with the shimano 50mg chronarchs and the new Revo stx's.
