Hi all,

I would like to try out Exclusive Bass Angling just outside of Nigel on the R51.

Please advise if the venue is still open and what I need to know in terms of safety, costs, equipment allowed etc.

We want to go float tube it.

Is it worth driving there from Benoni for a day outing?

Thanks in advance. :blue-razz:

I phoned Excl Bass last week and was told by Hendrik that they closed down.

The actual dam is now under municipal control.

No entry fees, gates open at 19:00, closes at 17:00

Boats and Jet ski's on the water.

Wish I saw this post before travelling from one side of Gauteng to fish this venue. Really disappointed

I could not find the place.
Hendrick contacted me to tell me he is looking for another venue. Will keep me posted.
