Thanks riprap for the booklet you mailed, now the boyancy will be spot on,this was my biggest concern.I've read the book and i'ts the only way to do it.


Yes Fab, i am really blessed with talent and God get's all the credit for that.I enjoy every moment what ever i do. Yes and you must have the right tools to do the job or the frustration will end everything in a wink of an eye.
I own a Engineering company and that pushes me forward but i really want to go into the manufacturing of Aluminium boats, this is my gaol for the future.

Luckas if your alu boats is half as good workmanship as this build you wont have a problem selling your boats well done bud..

Lucas, now once you are finished your boat and you've used it a couple of years, then you start with running repairs such as I'm doing tonight as per the pic. Next layer of glass will hopefully go down tomorrow and then it will be sealed with everbond of the same colour as that of the floor - it's not the most professional job you'll ever see but at least I know what has been done cos I did it myself. Also a bit rushed as my baby needs to get to the water!!!!



Herewith a tip. Batteries or battery boxes must be secured down properly and especially if you travel many rutted and bad gravel roads to your fishing destinations. Reinforce those areas first if you can and create some shock absorbing measures with mats, foam, carpet whatever to avoid "shock" fractures in the future! When I bought this boat 2'nd hand the fractures were already there and I should have fixed it then. Flat objects don't balance well on undulating surfaces......

I still can't get over the professionalism and pride of your work - you have a gift there boet!
