Down here in the Cape we prefer to hold our tournaments and inter provincials, at dams like Clanwilliam, when the smallies are spawning :blue-rolleyes:

Cant say much for the locals nor on how Msinsi intend to police this rule :blue-idea:

Some food for thought:

Assumption 1:
Inanda is fully stocked with bass in kg/ha sustainable but maybe the age classes are not ideal.

Assumption 2:
"Replenishment" in this sense would mean replacement fish that survive to replace those removed naturally or by anglers deliberately.

Assumption 3:
Only those anglers who access the fishery past Msinsi signboards have an effect on spawning or congregating fish?

Assumption 4:
Msinsi management have put a value on breeding fish in excess of the revenue generated by the hordes of anglers who target them at these times!

This is a good idea in theory but only time will tell if it is more beneficial than other forms of intervention.
