Hi there

just registered... relocated to cape town from the south coast and an avid bass/fly/river/surf fisherman.

let me know all the hot spots to fish in around cape town!

Welcome boet. Depends heavily if you have a boat or not. For boat anglers Kwaggas and it's neighbour Brandvlei (next to Worcester) are firm favourites after of course our gem here in the Western Cape, Clanwilliam dam. Bulshoek is another good option 20km north and down river of Clanwilliam. Other slightly more difficult dams are Theewaterskloof (close to Villiersdorp) with a few other smaller venues around.

There is a monthly BFSA Money Trail boat fishing competition at one one of the local dams and well as a monthly kick boat competition.

thanks guys...

i do not have a boat. i am looking to get an inflatable. wont be big enough for bigger dams like brandvlei etc..
