I just got an email from Gerry at Inanda Dam with the new pricing... here it is (and I quote)

---
The following campsite tariffs have been approved for bookings taken from now on for Inanda, Shongweni & Albert Falls Dams. Unfortunately those already booked & paid will not be benefitting from this tariff adjustment.

Electric Campsites:
Stay one night – R120 per person per night
Stay two nights or longer – R90 per person per night

Non – Electric:
Stay one night – R90 per person per night
Stay two nights – R70 per person per night

Inanda Dam Tented Accommodation:
Stay one night (Sun to Thursday) = R500 per tent
Stay two nights or longer (Sun to Thursday) = R450 per tent

Stay one night (Fri, Sat or Public Holiday) = R1, 000 per tent
Stay two nights or longer (Fri, Sat or Public Holiday) = R900 per tent

I think this is a good compromise and will encourage customers to come and stay longer than one day.

Nagle & Hazelmere Dams campsite tariffs will remain as is:

Nagle - R80 per person per night
Hazelmere – R90 per person per night

Please circulate to as many people as possible.

Please advise any people booking now that they must say that they are booking because of the reduced rates.

Many thanks

Did try to get boat launching fee reduced; not yet successful. Will continue trying.

The benefits of reducing the tariffs will be monitored over the next few months to see if it has been viable or not.

Regards

I guess it's the sticker we have to buy each year. I can't remember what I paid for it...

I paid R400 for the sticker. Cranky pays much less because he takes his canoe :blue-biggrin: I stayed in the camp site last weekend and the place was quite full. Very nice to see.

They have electrfied the campsite up to number 22. Hot water in the showers, so things are looking up. Gerry is doing a good job. Just seems his hands are tied when it comes to the gillnetters. Slowley, slowley catch a monkey, I guess. :blue-badgrin:
The more I learn about fishing the more I realise
how much more I have to learn about fishing.

Hi Gents,

I've emailed Gerry and for those who have kids, kids under 12 are half price.
