I soooo love how this whole topic has come full circle!! From CBC's original request and then Ryanie summing it up perfectly!!!! Everything that you mentioned Ryanie in your post was right on the money and exactly how alot of us feel on this site and i think exactly what CBC was eluding to!!!

CBC, legend and gentleman that you are, I doubt you would be able to not contribute as that is not you or your character and I know you wouldn't spite the "die hards" of the site because of the way certain newbies conduct themselves.... However I do share your point and agree with the essence of your post as you can't "make da circle beega" if you don't share some basic details on your background....

With that being said, Ryanie, knowing you are just up the road from me, it would be a pleasure to catch up with you on the water some time and meet you in person!!

We would love to see pictures and more info of your carpeting project. I am about to go down the same avenue as well and will be doing with the help of one or two generous BFSA buddies that know a bit more about the 'tricks of the trade' when it come to re-carpeting a bass boat.

I am actually quite embarrassed by the state of my carpets at the moment. :blue-redface:
