Hi there Smallie, you can find some information on Albert Falls here: <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.gobassing.com/display.php?Countries+South-Africa+Kwazulu-Natal+Albert-Falls">www.gobassing.com/display.php?Countries ... bert-Falls</a><!-- w -->

You can also try doing a search of these forums for information on that dam.

I'm sure that some of the KZN anglers will get back to you with some information as well, I know that Norkie and Rob Fisher do quite a bit of fishing there, you might try sending them a PM.

Albert Falls has been a son of a bitch dam for the last few months… I feel very sorry for the juniors having to fish this dam right now… during practice you need to see if the river is holding fish… if not try the trees (Tim’s and Main)… West Street and Kyalami needs to be checked as well… and then the Ridge. And then start at the Yacht Mole and work the banks all the way to losers…

And pray you find fish in one or more of the spots...

If I was to fish Albert’s now I would treat it as a new dam and start with a clean slate because none of the previous experiences have been producing fish.

I agree with Rob, very difficult place to fish especial at the moment.

Your best change in doing well is to get into the river mouth first! Depending on the water clarity use a watermelon seed fluke, mojo or weightless. Failing there then try the spots Rob mentioned.

Good luck Smallie! :blue-cool:
