I see a lot of people are going to Goedetrouw soon and though a high resolution map would be nice.

If the guys and girls who have been their can update the spots names so that I can insert them and e-mail interested parties an A3 map to printout. Like K20 Dam Wall ect.
I included girls because I know Miss BFSA knows all the names,:blue-biggrin: come on Marj help please.

Any additional info would be welcome.

I should have an AWESOME map of Lake Phobane fully labelled and with CONTOURS very shortly! As a matter of fact I will be releasing a map or two of different dams with CONTOURS each month! They will be available on our mapping site at www.streetmaps.co.za

That's great news Rob. Keep use posted. A contour map make all the difference as you can see whats under the water were it counts.

Oh! as a sharks supporter KZN maps must be the priority :blue-biggrin:

If you PM me your e-mail address I can send you one but it would be nice with names of the spots.

Pressure is now on Rob as we all wait with baited breaths for the contour map with names :eusa_clap: :blue-lol:

Jeremy the pressure has been on for a while... we are working with huge files because we want to print A0 maps in fold up form... and with A0 your resolution needs to be spot on... the contour lines are many and the resolution has to be good enough so they are readable.

The plan is to sell advertising space on the maps so we can offer the maps to shops either free or at a very reasonable price. We will also offer A0 version advert free laminated but they will be expensive because of the short run printing costs.

Lake Phobane and Inanda are first on the list.

Yes there will be smaller digital copies available but with anything smaller than A3 (and even A3 is a bit kak) the contour lines become difficult to see. Smaller dams will look better than the long ones.
