thanks again.

there was major panic today...i had fianally got my workshop and office all sorted out ready for the new year...went out to site to start working and got the call that she was being admitted again.

doctor andre botha is absolutely brilliant...it was exactly what he said it was...he had all the test done just to make sure...the surgeon checked her... gave her a local shot and used a needle it took all of 10 minutes and she was already out..we just got to sweat it for 3 days now then if all is well the doc will see her on saturday just to make sure the medication works.

her feeding has improved...she was looking much better...she has been putting on weight be only a little it still means improvement...then suddenly bam this happens today...the doc said it was good that it was caught so quickly...if it was left it would have turned into major surgery again.

we went to the doctor on saturday and the doctor is very happy with her recovery rate.

she is 10 weeks old...60 cm long and weighs 4.98kg and is ...and putting on weight...i think it is gona be the only time in her life that she would want to put on weight instead of trying to loose it :blue-biggrin:

she found herself in the mirror this morning for the first time...it was rather entertaining watching the reaction.

i am still waiting for her hair to grow back so that i can post a nice pic of her.

the image above is a thermal image...i know some people will say because human skin is a black body and you cant get acurate readings etc etc etc...i am not looking for accurate readings... i am monitoring temperature changes...its working for me to determine if and when we having problems before they get out of control...as you see the dark section across her stomach is the scare and the hottest point is were the problem area was last week which has healed nicely and the temperature has dropped back to the same as the rest of her stomach :blue-biggrin:

Ian, who needs hair, :blue-idea: pop into the local Babies"r"us and buy the little lady a cute pink baby aliceband and take the photo :blue-biggrin: - you have about 9 or 10 years before she will realize you posted the photo, thus start thinking of an excuse now cause they grow up sooooo fast :blue-shock:

My daughter was also petite and she has grown slowly but surely, still is petite :blue-rolleyes:, she has even started fishing mornings trips with me :blue-cool:

hannah has recovered really well...the scar is getting smaller as she is growing...she is just over 5 kg now and a little more than 62 cm long... and growing by the day.

thanks again to everyone for your support during this really difficult time.
