good women...how many of you fellas can say they have a good women and why?

here are some of my reasons:

she only complains if i go fishing for more than 4 weekends in a row without inviting her.

i never have to hide anything i buy at the fishing shop.

she is always considerate when she does anything ie if she gets lunch she will make sure she has enough for 2 just in case.

she has made sure there is enough food for me for 4 days while she is in hospital...

just to mention a few.

My good lady has been in my live now for 30 years, we have been married for 24 and during that time she ............. :blue-rolleyes:

Come to think about it there is not enough space on this site to list all the good things that she has done for me and my two boys. :blue-biggrin:

how often u go fish, coz ill go fish with you
pack lunch
and organise the weekend

just thought of some other things:

when we use to go fishing she use to go into the water and hold the boat sometimes in the middle of winter...because we didnt have trim and tilt and she was too scared to use the trolling motor.

spend the whole day on the boat with me from early morning till late and never complained...that must have been a real challenge i sure shannon would agree :blue-badgrin:

or trusted that i would get us home no matter how challenging the home run would be...from trying to get the boat back onto the trailer...to getting the bakkie and trailer up the driveway...which could take an hour because of the front wheel drive we would have to park in the driveway pull out the chain block etc to pull the vehicles the rest of the way the rest of the way...and if it rained just getting to the top of the hill was a challenge...sometimes i wonder how i didnt just give up fishing...she stuck it out without ever complaining.

There is just one small tiny little thingy that bugs me with my wife and fishing:

When my alarm goes off at 3am to get up for Goedertrow and it is cold, windy and wet outside and I reconsider to stay at home, I snuggle up to her and wisper in her ear - "intercourse or fishingcourse love?" she would then reply - "don't forget your tackle box!" :blue-evil: :blue-biggrin:

Tried that one too, Norkie.
cold and snowing outside, still got the "don't forget the tackle box" routine.
So went and packed the boat, did the checks and was about 10 mins from home, and it really started to turn seriously bad weather.
So I went home, climbed back into bed, nice and warm in the lee of bum island, and said. "you should just see the horrendous weather outside"
and my wife said,
"and to think that my stupid husband has gone fishing!"
