What a great day , It started well and we got fish strait away which is not the norm when we fish there .
I caught almost all my fish on a terminator jig with a brush hog trailer , it seemed to be a good combo. I do have my doubts about the hook set ratio on the jigs I was using as a missed quite a few bites and lost 2 fish over 3.5 kg and 1x of 2kg when they jumped and through the jig!!
After I lost the last fish which could easily have been a 4kg I stopped using the jig and also stopped getting bites for a few hours !! :blue-doubt:
I wish the dam was a little closer as I could fish it all the time , Its so peaceful ,has wildlife, no real pressure , no one rubba worm idiots and loads of huge hungry bass.

What is the road like if you dont have a 4x4 ?

exactly...we stay about 3 hrs from the damn and we get up at like 2am to go there..the roads fine if u dont have a 4x4...unless its been raining, then u might need 1...a normal bakkie works fine!
