Lone Star Shootout - Falcon Lake

Man, did you guys watch the coverage of the Lone Star Shootout at Falcon Lake in Zapata, Texas. The guys that fished it reckons that it's the best fishery they've ever been too. After the 3rd day weigh in, Aaron Martens had a average of 8lbs per fish with the winning weight 132.8lbs after 4 days by Paul Elias. It was also the new record for B.A.S.S. If I remember correct, I think the biggest bass was 13.2lbs... MONSTER!! :blue-shock:

I was even checking its position on Google Earth to see what the best town closest by was to live… so if I head for the US then San Antonio looks like a good bet… I spent a few days in San Antonio a few years back and it’s a nice town… and it has the Alamo.

But I have tried convincing the family that the US is a good place to live but they are not biting!

The fishing sure looked amazing! They were pulling out pig after pig! Imagine culling 2kg+ fish!!! :blue-biggrin: :blue-smile: I also want to go!!
