Hi Lourens1, will you be fishing from a boat or from the side?

Hi Lourens… Inanda (I guess like a lot of other dams) can change from day to day and spot to spot… right now for the past few weeks most of the fisherman have headed to the dirty water but 2 over 5kg fish have been caught in the clean water… the compos on bag weight wins have come from the dirty water but if you are fishing the Inanda Classic in a week and a half’s time then you may want to consider other options because all you need is one fat fish!

When are you planning to head for Inanda? If it’s for the Classic then try and find a spot that appeals to you and see if you can nail the winning fish in the first 30 minutes… if you don’t then cruise the dam for 15 minutes looking where all the other boats are and amend your plan.

If you are not fishing the classic then let us know a couple of days before you arrive and we’ll try and point you in the right direction.

Baits your will need are a selection of cranks baits in case the crank bite is on and then a selection of your favourite plastics mainly in greens (and possibly a white) Senkos/Dingers, Flukes and Brush Hogs.

Thank you I'll be forced to share the winnings with the BFSA memebers, that is if I am that lucky. Hope to meet some of you at the classic, for in the Free state Bass Fishing is not very big. So having a few friends who understand the passion we have for fishing would be incredible. My responds might take a while ,but my line is so bad it takes me 1/2hour to get into internet banking.

PS. Anybody looking for small bass to stock dams contact0827753727. The farm is in Parys I've stocked a dam on the farm and they are growing like crazy.
