That's two dumptruck fish in a month. There was a 5,3kg taken off Ken's Cliffs the weekend before the last ESA.

If this is the size fish coming out of Inanda we are going to have a tough time bettering this in the Bass classic. Just hope BFSA members will be the lucky ones :blue-razz:

Lots of beer on Friday night, then a Huddleston swimbait in the morning mixed up with a few regular cranks for a while, and then it's the looooooong day and a half slog with big plastics after the fish are shocked into oblivion by having 300 boats all power off in 22 minutes. The water at Alberts is turning as we speak, so it might turn slap bang in the middle of the Inanda classic.... It will turn slightly later at Inanda as it's warmer down there. :blue-sad:

Not many people know that Bassguru is in fact Shandon Hawman, and he was a BFSA member when he won it last year. This event is ALL about the first 90 minutes. Sure, there are always big fish that are caught on Sunday, or mid day on Saturday, but the vast majority of the time, these events are won early on Saturday.

My Huddleston swimbait is ready… it didn’t work last time out but I will persevere with it because it swims so life like!
