Is fishing not at it's best when the pressure just starting to drop? :blue-rolleyes:

Yes as it starts to drop is the best, it stays good while it is low and then tapers off as the pressure comes back up again.

And this dropping pressure theory didn’t work yesterday at Inanda… I thought dropping pressure was great for foooooshing… check the barometer and it’s still dropping and the fishing was way tougher than expected?

I haven't really bothered about barometric pressure until recently, i fished the same dam on different days and the only thing that changed was the pressure. I was very successfull the first day with the pressure at 1012 but on the next with the pressure at 1016 I caught nothing, not one bite. Is it worth while to judge a good day for fishing from a bad one just by the change in pressure?
