Got to Alberts around 06:30 and it was cloudy with a slight breaze. Things were looking awesome for some topwater action... The fishing was k@k to say the least. Didn't manage to land 1 keeper, all undersized. Used Spinnerbaits, Frogs, Plastics, Cranks, Swimbaits you name it .... FOKKOL!!!! :blue-doubt:

Man I'm really looking forward to the ESA Comp next weekend :blue-doubt:

Two weekends in a row now!!!! :blue-shock: :blue-evil: We going to k@K next week at the ESA. Better take something with to kill the time on the water, a good book or a Leeu Loop CD.

Sound like Apple had a lekker day at Inanada today! :blue-lol:

NOT!

I never even did a report from my side because it was just as dismal. I fished from 02h30 in the morning (stayed over at Notuli rondavels Thursday night) and had the same result :blue-sad: :blue-sad: :blue-sad: :blue-sad: :blue-sad:

I spoke to a couple of guys and not 1 of them managed a fish close to 1kg... :blue-cry: I think all the BFSA guys that are fishing the Comp must bring extra beer and we can all meet up at the ridge around 07:15 on Sat, tie our boats together and "praat kak". :blue-biggrin:

To say the fishing was KAK today must be the understatement of the century :blue-cry:
Apart from a handful of undersize fish I think we got 4 keepers, the biggest was about 800g

We are going to have a not so good time at the ESA next week :blue-sad:

Unlucky Louis, but don't worry partner, we will get focused next weekend and make something of it. Guys, don't get despondent. Remember that ESA are doing wonders for our sport.... I just wonder what it's doing to our fish... is this the start?? :blue-evil: :blue-evil:
