For all who is interested.

I have been fishing quite a lot at Tuckers lately (from the banks). The problem is I haven't caught any decent size Bass there lately.

The main dam is full of SMALL bass ( it is fun ) but get's boring after a while. Yesterday I manage to get 17 small bass and all on a popper.
I have tried everything else and nothing wanted to work , assoon as I put my popper back on ...... FUN.

Wistler Dam ..... DEAD

Conga Dam ............. full of weed & grass , a lot of activity in the water but that is about IT.

Could not get to the other 5 Dams ..... tooo wet and muddy , afraid of getting stuck after i removed the 4x4 features from my 1300 Toyota Tazz

Hi Appel. Ok, so popper is producing a lot of fish, which says one thing, surface lures are working. I don't know, but I'm assuming you are fishing in the afternoon. Try with a bigger surface lure like a Zara Spook or a dying flutter. The dying flutter isn't the biggest surface bait, but does catch big fish. I'd say try the Zara or a jitterstick.

try a fluke in the grass 1, or frogs, looks and feels realy cool if they bust it through the grass!

Hey appel

Drew hit the nail on the head. If the top water lures are working and you are only getting small fish, go bigger, Zara Spook, Skitter walk, Dying Flutter should all get the attention of some bigger fish Big Grin

Good luck.
Sometimes the fishing is so bad not even the liars catch anything!!!!
