Chris you speak like one that has never caught a fish off a nest before whether in a comp or while out social fishing ??
Anyway be that as it may. I'm not here to fight with anyone, just felt that I would share my experience with those of you here that know so much of what happneed at a comp that you didn't attend. Brandin and I were fortunate to have won this year's Winter Classic and we're probably 2 of the chaps you referred to as having caught our fish off nests and driven around with them all day long in the live well for 20km . I can with all honesty say that your assumption is absolutly in correct. We did not see or catch a single fish off a nest in the 2 days of fishing. After the comp I made an effort to ask how many anglers saw fish on nests over the wknd and all but 1 angler confirmed that they did not see any fish on let alone catch any off of nests. Like I stated I'm not here to fight but merely to share my and other anglers experiences of nesting fish this past weekend.

Ps I would suggest you guys take another look at your calculations to, as in my experience of actually being there they don't seem very accurate.

Cool Billy, I totally respect you and believe you, but I still can't believe that it's in the interest of the bass to hold 2 major tournaments during what is generally the spawning time. I don't like to fish in major competitive events, but have no issue with those who do. I think my issue is the fact that there were 2 major events in such a short space of time, not the fact of holding an event per se. And no matter what any expert, whether they were there or not, says, that will remain my opinion.
