Good afternoon guys. SABAA Western Cape will be hosting our annual Inter-club competition at Buffeljags Dam near Swellendam on 8 September this year. As usual we would like to extend the invitation to the social BFSA and Money Trailer anglers to enter a team for the event.

You are welcome to contact me should you have any inquiries. We are planning to stay as a group at a venue near the dam. Unfortunately we will not be able to camp or make use of the chalets at the dam as the venue is booked out to a motorcycle rally.

Not yet... usual there won't be an entry fee but I supposed the teams might pop R500 into a kitty for the best team to win.

As soon as Vincent de Boer announces any cost for the camping etc I will publish it here.

With boats running around on a relatively small dam I don't think it will be safe.

We are however looking at trying to accomodate kickboaters on bass boats. I suggest you contact Malcolm Palmer aka Southpaw who sits on our SABAA Western Cape Executive with names so that we can try and accomodate you guys.

I will try to touch base with Vincent, our SABAA Western Cape president to see if he has any costs for us yet.

Just as an additional point we would to thank Brent Webber from Blue Water Gear as he kindly sponsored a trophy for this long overdue event. (The event was cancelled last year)

HI Ian. It is happening

The event is scheduled for the 8th of September at Buffeljags Dam.
We can launch for R100 per boat and accommodation will be at Rotterdam.
Clubs can contact Tanja at admin@kambati.co.za and 0792009098, rooms are available with a communal kitchen and braai area at http://www.therotterdam.co.za for all of us. R990/room that sleeps 2. Please make a club booking and not individual to keep his admin to a minimum.
All further information will come from Bayside chapter who will run the tourney.
