My new PB!! Vygeboom Dam

Hi guys


Went to vygeboom dam in durbanville today for the first time.

Started at about 8 and by 10 had been throwing around most of my limited amount of lures with no fish to show.

Then decided to switch to a junebug finesse worm and got a Lekka pull but missed. I cast out again and while I was twitching the line BAM!! This fish had me running up and down the bank for quite some time meanwhile I was hoping it wouldn't come off.

I lipped her with one foot in the water and then sat right down on the grass blood pumping and out of breath.

Some kind carp fishermen was nice enough to take a pic for me while I fussed about getting my scale out. The scale showed a nice 1.84 kg for a very fat and healthy bass :blue-biggrin:

Had a good morning there and would go back again for some more.
