hi guys, i don't have my skippers yet and i wanna go fish kwagga's in a week or two...

do they check skippers there othen?
where els would i be able to fish now without a skippers?

just wanna go test the boat and have a little fishing...

im going to do my skippers next season.

Skippers is a once off thing, COF must be renewed every year (seasonal).

Don't know about the Kaap but in KZN you cannot get your dam entry permit, day or seasonal, without COF and COC (Skippers)

Yes they do - best bet is to invite a friend with a skippers along.

Brandvlei is even stricter than Kwaggas.

Just do it. Its one weekend and then its done. Renewel next season is then easy. Yours skippers is forever. WHy postpone the fishing. JUST DO IT

I've never been asked for my skippers or COF at Clanwilliam....not that I'm advocating going onto the water without he correct paperwork etc you understand :blue-biggrin: But either way, why not just get your skippers, whether you do it now or later, once you have it it's one less thing to stress over.

You will be asked at Kwaggskloof/Brandvlei and Theewaters, thats a given......
As bassassin said, we have not been ask for ours EVER.....BUT theres always the possibility and I know from time to time even the SAP river police get in on the act and will fine you and make you get off the water.....
