- Bassassin - 05-08-2011 Thanks for that offer Wilbul, that's caring and sharing, I'll see if we can contact the owner and obtain the details. - Bergie - 05-08-2011 Yep thanks wilbur....I've invited the owner, James Owen-Huges to join our site, James has been a bassfisherman for many years both here and in Natal...The knowledge he can share would be invaluable... :blue-biggrin: - Navrik - 05-08-2011 Thanks Wilbul! And officially welcome to posting on the site. We hope to see lots of report back and nice pictures! - BassBaas - 05-08-2011 That is a bummer....every bassers worst nightmare! I will keep en eye out, if I see anything I will make alarm. I hope someone find your boat and catch the culprit. - SG - 05-09-2011 I've added the pic and details to my fb page asking friends to look out. Really hope that you get your boat back !! - SABAA - 05-10-2011 Just to let everyone know that James has recovered his boat, well the hull at least. Everything else had been stripped, even the trailer was taken :blue-cry: :blue-sad: :blue-mad: - plasticman - 05-10-2011 Hi SABAA, Just for interest sakes, where was the hull recovered. Thanks PM - Hellbent - 05-10-2011 Damn that sucks  - Ninja - 05-10-2011 Exactly as was predicted by plasticman! What a kak one! :blue-doubt: - plasticman - 05-10-2011 Ninja, I did not predict anything. - Bergie - 05-10-2011 James's boat was recoved at Skaapkrall/10th avenue Ottery/Grassy park. When the police found the boat, it was still on the trailer....When he arrived to collect ..NO TRAILER....all fishfinders, rods and lures, motor, trolling motor and seats have been stripped from the boat.....Kak one in anybodys book. James will tell all when he signs on. - Jeremy - 05-10-2011 Jeremy Wrote:with stolen boats, they usually remove the motor and ditch the rest. Hope they catch the bastards :blue-evil: I did, well not really a prediction but more of a modus operandi. My last comment stands and thats, I hope they catch the bastards :blue-evil: My friend had a boat stolen and they shot the hull full of holes and dumped it in the bay. It didn't sink and was found the next morning bobbing around. It was pulled out and with some very clever Police work they traced the flowers they found on and in the hull to one street and nailed the bastards. Surprisingly it was fairly well off white folk with lots of boats in their yard. - plasticman - 05-10-2011 there is a 2nd hand hyd jack plate for sale on gumtree, adress is lansdowne which is around the corner,is it from the same boat???? - Hawkeye - 05-10-2011 Bergie Wrote:James's boat was recoved at Skaapkrall/10th avenue Ottery/Grassy park.So between the cops finding it and James collecting MORE stuff is stolen ?? Is that Right Bergie?? Boat recovered - wilbul - 05-10-2011 Working for vehicle theft I am extremely ashamed if it is the case that my work buddies would help themselves to another man`s hard earned property. Hopefully not true. Let`s hope James can tell us the whole story on the sight. Take care Capies and please look after your ships. Wilbul. :blue-redface: |
