Here is an important NOTICE that all prospective participants should note to avoid disappointment when pitching to fish the C4C at Harties on Sat
SA BASS Cast-for-Cash Tournament Trail 2009
Important Notice to All Cast-for-Cash anglers competing in the Hartbeespoort Dam event, being hosted at Meerhof Recreational Resort on Saturday, 29 August 2009:
All Cast-for-Cash teams competing in the Hartbeespoort event will be required to have a skippers license and COF onboard. According to resort management boats without a valid skippers license and COF will be refused entry to the dam.
Teams will also be required to provide resort management with the following on the day:
A photocopy and the original copy of your skippers license
A photocopy and the original copy of your COF
A completed resort indemnity form Click here to download
Please Note: In order to allow all anglers to enter the resort and complete their registration prior to the 7:00am launch the gate will be open from 5:00am on tournament day.

Its about time the resorts come to the party and do this kinda thing, I it support 100%
We did the lot and carry all the gear but because there is no policing the cow boys get away with murder. Wish all resorts would do that.

With all this being said I can say this much. Fishing’s going to be tuff this weekend. We helped some friends Pre fish yesterday and as far as we could understand from the other boats we were the only guys that got fish.
The other guys blanket and meaning absolutely NO bites. I boated a 1.83 and got some nice takes.The dam started turning yesterday on the eastern side. So be prepared for some tuff fishing. Water tem was 11.4 when we started and when we came off the water it was 12

Yip 10 days ago ALSO nutting. The carp were slurping along tha surface though, big buggers

Hawkeye we also came across loads of carp and barbell in the shallow bays. See the weather drops tomorrow and then picks up again over the weekend. Temps from now till the weekend is
Friday: 23/7
Saturday: 24/6
Sunday: 26/8

lets hope the fishing improves a well :blue-biggrin: I ve been meditating a lot on what where ,how to fish as pre fishing didnt help at all :blue-biggrin:

No I am not fishing it. The only reason we fished Harties were to help friends pre fish vir the C4C
