Ok so we went to Mteri on the 6th August 08 and it didnt take long to nail our PB's. All caught pre spawn.

I have to say Mteri has to be visited by any serious basser and its not too expensive to get there. Only downer is that i have since heard that there is a possibility that boating on Mteri will be stopped as of jan 2009 due to the area being turned into an eco park. So you better get there fast.

Some awesome pics! Well done! Mteri is on the list of places I want to visit before I die along with Peacock Bass in the Amazon, Nile Perch in Africa and Tiger fishing in the Okavango!

Yes lots of experience with forums!

We are doing the tiger thing 2009 northern Namibia (budget willing) so should be good. Wouldnt mind the Amazon for peacock bass....mmmmmm

Yeah tiger fishing is defintely a must, did a trip to the caprivi( namibia side) last year September, we will also be going back to island view lodge next year.

Was caught your side of the world, offshore Ramsgate on a live lizard fish. the tax man took a few so i was really stoked to land this one and yes this one was hooked and cooked i'm afraid. :blue-redface:
