SAMSA Notice - Ninja - 08-06-2008
The following notice regarding all small vessels', owners and skippers was issued by Corporate Communications of SAMSA:
1. Skippers (COC issued by SAMSA) is extended to 1 March 2009
2. Cerificate of Fitness (COF) is extended to 7 August 2009
Note: Any small vessel buid after August 2007 must comply by 8 August 2008.
Thanks to Louis (Lvdw) for getting the official letter from SAMSA. He asked me to post this notice. If anyone wants a copy of this letter please let me have your e-mail and I'll send it to you.

I bet a lot of guys will be breathing a sigh of relief :blue-biggrin: I do think that some organisations have climbed on the bandwagon though making good money out of these regulations :blue-confused:

True, but the COF has to be reniewed anually so it will save me some trouble for now. At least my skippers license is also done, so something less to worry about in the future.

Best news I received for the year, I almost advertised my boat for sale !!!
I am a "ontspannings bass hengelaar" - I do not need all this crap to enjoy bass fishing.
All this regulations are overboard we are not in USA with their "big lakes".
