Current CT rainfall & weather
Jeez, what a week of stormy weather in the Cape :blue-exclaim: :blue-shock: Have any of you guys got an idea of how many millimeters fell in the last week :blue-question: PDV, Plaasdam, your dams must be very close to overflowing if it isn’t yet :blue-question: :blue-exclaim:
I see they are predicting some better weather for Saturday and Sunday. Will anyone be braving the cold and go to Kwaggas or some other large dam :blue-question: If so, I want to brave it with you :blue-exclaim: :blue-razz:
Would it even be worth it to go out on the water in this cold weather almost a week of constant icy cold rain? Not that any day on the water is not worth it, just thinking of several hours in ice cold conditions and then blanking!
What tactics to use in this weather? Deep water, fished very slow with jigs and plastics?

Sharky, I think Sunday looks the best.I am prepared to challenge the cold,dirty water, cause I have never blanked before and there is always a first time.

It would be great if I can tag along CBC. Never been on Kwaggas, never caught a smallie and never fished in this type of cold. So, quite a few firsts waiting for me :blue-exclaim: :blue-redface:

Just remembered guys, the tunnel is closed due to rockfalls and mudslides on Worcester's side of the mountain. People were routed through the pass. Maybe the'll have it cleared by Sunday.

I think it must be possible to cross over into Brandvlei by now. There should be quite a bit of snow on the mountains as well, should make for some fine photo opportunities.

From last Thursday untill now we have measured 181 mm here in Paarl! Dams are filling up quickly.
