SA Weather
As some of you may or may not know one of the web sites I run is a South African Weather site where we get really accurate weather data for SA… <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.southafricanweather.co.za">www.southafricanweather.co.za</a><!-- w -->
Amongst other thing we are recording and storing Barometric pressures for the fisherman… here is a graph of the last 36 hours at Durban…

Rob, this really is great info and another tool one can use to predict what MR LINCOLIN might do!
I copy and paste the info for Cape Town on Excel to give me that same graph - very interesting.
I am looking forward to info for smaller towns like Paarl, Worcester, Villiersdorp and Clanwilliam.
You have a great site going there!

Hi PDV… unfortunately we won’t have the in-depth weather for the smaller towns like Paarl etc because for this information we need actual barometers in each town… it’s on the list of things to do but it’s going to be a while…

The barometer is dropping to soon, Inanda would have been chaos this afternoon. Geezz can't these guys get it right :blue-biggrin:
Lets hope it stays low tomorrow, but I doubt it

Well even if the barometric pressure rises and the wind comes up we will still club some big foooshies… I have a whole heap of new baits to try… I doubt the bass have seen any of them… gonna be an interesting outing tomorrow morning…
PS I also found some of those Magic Flukes you mentioned... the Ninja had a couple of packets...

Thanks for the info robfisher, I am going fishing at Harties leaving 4am tomorrow. The weater report indicates a drop in temp and I expect in pressure, so this should put the fish in feeding mode :blue-question: What! no new cranks to try out :blue-question: :blue-razz: I have been into 3 differnt Bass shops in the last 3 days and just could not resist the temptation...I have 5 or 6 new ones to try, Ohh I bumped into Darryl Qiuinton ( RAPALA) in one of the shops and he put me onto a winner which I am definetly going to try tomorrow :eusa_drool: By the time you fish Inanda classic you will know ALL the sweet spots. :blue-smile: Maybe you'l pass on some tips again .Have a fooshing goood time

I really should know everything about Inanda Dam already… I have fished it more than a few times… but I guess that’s why we are all addicted to this sport of ours… things change from minute to minute let alone day to day… when I started bass fishing 2 years ago Libby Bay was my go to spot of note and was where I caught my first 3kg fish (Mr Lincoln) but for the last year that spot has simply sucked for me… Taxi Bay is another spot that used to work for me that hasn’t worked for some time now… oh yes and Durban Bay was my all time favourite spot and I haven’t caught any decent fish there for months!

Hi Robf, please email post the link to the chart for the barometric preasure of tthe following towns. I cannot find any data on the website you suggested. Hartebeestpoort and Brits if possible.

Hi Lukas… the barometric system is still under development and we are still testing it before making it live on the website… there will only be a few major centers with the hourly barometric pressures and graphs because we don’t have access to barometers in spots other then airports etc… in a week or so we will add it to the main web site.
