Proper rain gear - Riem - 01-10-2008

Guys,

Anybody knows where to get a decent rain suit? Seeing that we're heading into rain season I want to get a proper one. I like the farmer john outfit from Bass pro-shop, but they're flippen expensive and will only be here in the winter and I'm not sure what size to rder either.

If there are local dealers selling the same stuff I'll gladly support them.

Please let me know.

Ruffneck do yourself a favour and order a Gortex Jacket from Bass Pro Shops… currently on special for $49 and then buy a lightweight farmer john wader from a local tackle shop and cut the feet off… you will be comfor4table and dry and you won’t over heat!

Except when he's got his Frogg Toggs on then he looks like farmer Brown :blue-biggrin: :blue-biggrin: :blue-biggrin: .

Frogg Toggs rule as far as being water proof goes, but Gortex is without a doubt the best material around.

The Frogg Togg distributor in SA is Dilys Quinton on (011) 6622775 or her cell is (084) 2339745. I bought mine directly from her.

But I far prefer my Gortex Jacket and modified light weight waders.
