Herewith a handy tool for both hemispheres if the moon phases are important to you. Plug in your actual position and get accurate data.

this is very interesting as i have been looking at getting a "fishing" watch ... casio have a number of watches that give either baromic and altimeter readings, OR moon tiding OR ocean tiding. They also have a Fishing watch that works with lunar activity.

I have a SUUNTO Vector watch that I use for fishing. Doesn't have the moon phases or tides but does have barometric pressure and altitude. Water resistant.

Have had it for couple of years now, great watch. Very accurate.
