Morning folks.

Things are hotting up on the front so if you've never fished this classic, go to page 1 of this thread and start at the beginning.
For the rest of you that haven't entered yet, the prizes are bigger and better than ever, the dam is full and clean with lots of weed and some nice fish are being caught! Still no boat for biggest fish I'm afraid...........

Rip - that Wriggleswade water is unbelievably clean!

I was there yesterday - the fingerlings were absolutely wild - smashing the herring baitfish on the surface at about 2pm. Actually - pretty much all the fish were wild and looking to bite!

As the afternoon storm built, I even managed a decent fish on a black buzzbait :blue-lol:

Kassie, might I remind you ol' chom that many a big and winning fish has been caught on a black buzzbait but not all! Those Floridas have all been trained about buzzbaits now so perhaps when in doubt, put a fluke out....... :eusa_whistle:

Hello Bergie. How have you been?
Just a correction, buzzbaits only came out in 1974 so that must have been the '75 tournament??
