Well it was finally time for the first BFSA KBT of the new season. Clanwilliam was the venue and with mixed reports of the fishing there recently we weren’t exactly filled with the usual confidence. But that being said there were still some really good fish weighed in and well done to those guys who managed to find them.

From Andrew and myself we would like to thank all the sponsors:

To Roy for setting up the season venues and helping us with finer details of the KBT and to everybody that competed this past weekend. Thank you for being patient with the rookie organisers, things will get better and smoother with each KBT.

Well done to the Top3 who are as follows:
Taking top spot was Nathan Goldberg with 13.19points (7.19kg bag) as well as the big fish prize with a 3kg Largie on day1.
In second place was Craig Crossman with 12.89points (6.89kg bag) with a 2.7kg Largie in his day2 bag.
In third place was Gavin Stuart-Williams with 12.14points (6.14kg bag) with probably the best overall average size fish.

Again well done guys it was not easy fishing especially with the weather that decided to arrive on Sunday.

Remember to support the sponsors, without them the KBT wont be the same.

My apologies for taking a while to get this up, haven’t been well.
Looking forward to seeing everybody at the next KBT at Poortjieskloof 24-25 October. Details for this comp will be posted once everything is finalised.
