Howsit Chaps!

I'm looking to get myself a 8ft spinning rod for all around use (bass, dropshot, dams, rivers etc.). Any tips for a decent medium heavy that won't break the bank?

Cheers

Personally I think an 8ft MH rod is going to be like bringing a bazooka to a knife fight, you will loose a lot of the sensitivity of the shorter lighter rods and the fight will be a bit boring.

Try a Shimano Vengeance 8", good all round, dropshotting in surf, carp fishing, bass fishing, kurper of a boat. Try is with a Shimano Sienna or Exage reel.
Fits neatly in a rod holder behind a bakkie seat for emergencies.
