The 'BEST FISHFINDER' in the World: - Is the fishfinder that can offer YOU what YOU need*, at a price YOU can afford and last but not least, with the service, backup and warranty YOU expect from a supplier.

* - To determine what you need just sit down with a pen and paper and think about your typical morning on the water and what you would like to see from your electronics.

LOWRANCE offers all of the above - speak to your local dealer, and if they don't have the answers, give me a call.

Fishton, morning. With respect and whilst you are quite correct in your prelude, there are other brands on the market and technology nowadays is advancing at such a pace that it boils down to many choices.

Currently I have 2 units on my boat.
Lowrance down scan and Hummingbird side & down scan.

I found the Lowrance down scan is better than the Hummingbird down scan.

Hummingbird side scan appeared better than the Lowrance side scan. (Hours spend comparing the units on other boats)

Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a Raymarine or Garmin side scan so could not make a comparison.
