Greetings to all...

Have been reading the forum for a short while and decided it was time to register and try to become more involved.

I have been doing a bit of both freshwater and Rock & Surf , but the Bass bug bit seriously only after my son showed interest. Now I can drive blindfolded to the various tackle shops and my vehicle has an Autopilot to Malcolm....

I am yet to catch a decent Bass, but all in due time :lol:

I look forward to learning more of this great sport and hopefully learn enough to hold my own someday (Basically hoping the youngster in the house doesn't out-fish me too quickly)

BassNinja - I appreciate the offer and will definitely speak up to go fish some spots.
I just hope that my "Ooooo that's nice - tackle buying disease" eases up otherwise my wife might just catch on - Not always easy to carry more rods; reels & lures discretely into the house from the my quick trip to the shop......

At this stage when the wife sees us running out the door with a quick comment that we're going to Malcolm - she just turns around and walks away...lol

I all honesty - I must state that I seriously impressed with the with the help, advise and service I get at Ol Bigmouth. :eusa_clap:
Malcolm is always available to help and jeez does he have some nice stuff!!
He went out of his way to order specific lures I wanted - not one shop I visited offered this level of help and dedication to all who walk into their store.

Was at Ol Bigmouth today. First time in months.
Felt like I walked into Aladdin's Cave. Really added a lot more goodies.

Eish. You know when you go to the casino and you say you only going to gamble with a x amount. It's that kind of restrain I had to apply, haha. Had to had a very serious one on one conversation with myself.

RealBait Co's lures are there as well. Going to give some of the lures a go and support another proudly South African company (Nutt here on the forum).

Malcoms friendly daughter helped me. I believe Malcolm is going back on Monday for another back operation. All the best Malcolm!
